The golf course is the focal point of the Amberwood Village Golf & Country Club. With the challenging features of the course, including water hazards on every hole, our golfers find the nine holes of our club an excellent place to test their skills. By playing from two different tee boxes for the front and back nine, the course can become a challenging 18 holes. Members may book tee-off times seven days in advance. Non-members may book five days in advance. The quality of the course maintenance is second to none in the Ottawa area. A driving net, a practice chipping and sand bunker area, and a practice putting green are maintained for golfers’ use.

Public Ladies League

This Public Ladies League is geared toward ladies that are out for a FUN evening of golf.   Golf will be “9 Holes” every Wednesday 3pm-5:30pm and Thursday 3pm-5:30pm .  You can pick your time each week and make up your own group or just sign up with others.  Tee times may be booked one week in advance using our online tee time system or by calling the proshop.  You only pay for the nights you play, so no worry about the missed nights.  We will also be introducing weekly fun games, such as poker, bingo bango bongo, secret holes, etc..  50/50 draws will also be new for 2023 with weekly winners.  There will be meals and refreshments available after golf at our award winning restaurant, ALE (dinner and drinks are not included)

League runs Wednesday nights May 3th to Sept. 20th and  Thursday, nights May 4^th to Thursday, September 21st.

League fee $80.00 + HST (includes the opening and closing wine and cheese social) and weekly green fees $23.00 + HST.

Amberwood Men’s League

Golf, All-Inclusive and ‘League Only’ members are eligible to participate in the Amberwood Men’s League. Tee times from 8:00 am every Thursday morning.

Each week the League Captain will email members a ‘virtual’ sign-up sheet asking of their intention to play the following week. You have a choice of playing 18 or 9 holes. Your tee time will be sent to you Tuesday.  We have a 50-50 draw among other fun activities every week and get together on the ALE restaurant deck afterwards. Besides our Thursday mornings, the league organizes Match Play competition throughout the summer and the Club Championship in August.

September 28: Men’s Closing Dinner

League Fee: $30 is collected from Golf and All-Inclusive members. (includes Opening Coffee Get-Together and Men’s Closing Dinner on September 28) The fee is included for the ladies who have purchased a Mens League only membership $175.00 + HS

Amberwood Ladies’ League

Each week the League will email members asking of their intention to play the following week. Your 9-hole tee time will be sent to you over the weekend. Each week we have a 50-50 draw as well as birdie and chip-in pots with funds going towards our end of year luncheon. We get together on the deck at the ALE restaurant after our round. Throughout the summer, besides our Tuesday morning regular rounds, the league organizes other fun events: a couple of shotgun starts, bring-a-friend days, and more. In addition, there is a Club Championship in August.

These 50 minute clinics will cover the basic fundamentals of the golf swing as well as on course experience.  Lessons will include putting, chipping, driving, iron play, bunker play, rules and etiquette. The main goal is to have fun and learn the proper way to play golf. Rental equipment is available. Maximum 10 children per group.
